Rum - napój alkoholowy o wysokiej zawartości alkoholu (37,5%-81%) wytwarzany ze sfermentowanego soku z trzciny cukrowej, koncentratu tego soku lub melasy.
Wódka - wysokoprocentowy napój alkoholowy składający się z destylatu alkoholowego rozcieńczonego wodą w stosunku około 2:3 (40%). W Polsce aby móc legalnie nazywać napój alkoholowy wódką musi on zawierać minimum 37,5% alkoholu.
Amaretto DiSaronno
Amaretto - napój alkoholowy wywodzący się z Włoch, o słodkim, lekko gorzkawym smaku. Jest to czerwonobursztynowy likier wytwarzany z użyciem migdałów lub czasem z pestek moreli, brzoskwiń, wiśni i innych. Czasami wykorzystuje się także różne zioła lub aromat waniliowy. Zawartość alkoholu wynosi zazwyczaj kilkanaście do trzydziestu procent objętościowych. Mimo że nazwa likieru wywodzi się z Włoch, to na świecie znane i popularne są likiery o tej nazwie produkowane we Francji, Holandii lub w Niemczech.
Amaretto jest głównym składnikiem wielu drinków. Jest także często wykorzystywane jako dodatek do kawy, czekolady, deserów i ciast, często w połączeniu z migdałami.
Southern Comfort - likier pochodzenia amerykańskiego o zawartości alkoholu 35-50%. Alkohol pochodzi z Nowego Orleanu. Jego składnikami są burbon, brzoskwinie, pomarańcze i zioła.
Bitters, gorzkie wódki, posiadające specyficzny smak lub zapach, stosowane jako składnik cocktaili. W Polsce produkowana jest np. wódka Żołądkowa Gorzka.
