Wódka - wysokoprocentowy napój alkoholowy składający się z destylatu alkoholowego rozcieńczonego wodą w stosunku około 2:3 (40%). W Polsce aby móc legalnie nazywać napój alkoholowy wódką musi on zawierać minimum 37,5% alkoholu.
Tequila - wódka meksykańska, odmiana mezcalu, produkowana ze sfermentowanego soku specjalnego gatunku tzw. niebieskiej agawy, (Agave tequilana). Jest tam znana od czasów Azteków. Nazwa pochodzi od okręgu w Meksyku, w którym rozpoczęto jej produkcję.
Likiery (nalewki) są słodkimi napojami alkoholowymi o bogatym zakresie smaków. Zazwyczaj smaki pochodzą z owoców, ziół lub orzechów. Nalewki odróżniają się od innych alkoholi owocowych zawartością cukru. Zawartość alkoholu większości likierów mieści się w zakresie 15% a 55%.
Lima, limona, limonka, limetka, limeta kwaśna (Citrus aurantifolia) - gatunek rośliny należącej do rodziny rutowatych. Przypuszczalnie pochodzi z Azji Południowo-Wschodniej, powszechnie uprawiana w regionach tropikalnych i subtropikalnych. Najwięksi producenci: Indie, Meksyk, Argentyna, Brazylia.
