Brandy (pol. wypalanka, winiak) - napój alkoholowy (wytrawna wódka) destylowany z wina, głównie gronowego. Brandy może być destylowana również z wina owocowego, wówczas jednak powinna być odpowiednio oznaczona, np. Cherry Brandy - brandy wiśniowa itp.
Śmietanka - produkt mleczny otrzymywany w procesie odwirowywania mleka surowego. Stanowi półprodukt przy wytwarzaniu wielu produktów mlecznych np. śmietany, masła śmietankowego, lodów śmietankowych. Sprzedawana również w postaci nieprzetworzonej lub przetworzonej metodą UHT. Śmietanki o zawartości 9-12% tłuszczu, potocznie nazywanej słodką śmietanką, używa się do kawy. Śmietanki o zawartości 30-36% tłuszczu, potocznie zwanej kremówką, używa się do deserów i sporządzania bitej śmietany.
