Rum - napój alkoholowy o wysokiej zawartości alkoholu (37,5%-81%) wytwarzany ze sfermentowanego soku z trzciny cukrowej, koncentratu tego soku lub melasy.
Curaçao (wym. [kyra?sao]) - nazwa gatunkowa likierów wytwarzanych ze skórek gorzkich pomarańczy. Nazwa likierów powstała od wyspy Curaçao u wybrzeży Wenezueli. Na wyspie tej w przeszłości uprawiano gatunek gorzkiej pomarańczy.
Aktualnie głównym producentem tych pomarańczy jest Haiti. Curaçao można podzielić na:
zwykłe curaçao o zawartości 30% alkoholu
wytrawne "sec" lub "triple sec" (potrójnie wytrawne) zawierające minimum 35% alkoholu.
Charakterystyczną cechą niektórych odmian Curaçao jest ich błękitna barwa Blue Curaçao. Istnieją też inne barwne odmiany tego likieru - zielona, zielono-niebieska czy pomarańczowa.
7 Up - napój gazowany o smaku cytrynowo-limonkowym w Europie produkowany przez oddziały PepsiCo[1], a w USA przez Dr Pepper Snapple Group[2]. Logo napoju składa się z cyfry 7, napisu Up i czerwonej kropki między nimi. Owa kropka jest maskotką linii tych napojów i nazywa się Cool Spot. Była ona bohaterką gier komputerowych, między innymi logicznej opartej na grze Ataxx.
