Wódka - wysokoprocentowy napój alkoholowy składający się z destylatu alkoholowego rozcieńczonego wodą w stosunku około 2:3 (40%). W Polsce aby móc legalnie nazywać napój alkoholowy wódką musi on zawierać minimum 37,5% alkoholu.
Sos sojowy (jap. ?? sh?yu, chin. ?? ji?ngyóu) - sos fermentowany, wytwarzany z ziaren soi, prażonego ziarna ryżu lub pszenicy, wody i soli. Jest to jedna z najważniejszych przypraw kuchni azjatyckiej, obecnie używany także w kuchniach tradycji zachodniej.
Ziarno soi jest mielone i gotowane z prażonym ryżem albo pokruszoną pszenicą i następnie mieszane z grzybami k?ji (Aspergillus oryzae albo A. sojae) i podobnymi mikroorganizmami. Po dwuletniej fermentacji otrzymuje się ciemną, przezroczystą, aromatyczną ciecz, którą poddaje się filtracji.
