Spirytus rektyfikowany - destylat lub wodny roztwór alkoholu etylowego o zawartości alkoholu (objętościowo) około 96%. Ponieważ alkohol etylowy tworzy z wodą mieszaninę azeotropową, jest to maksymalne stężenie, które można otrzymać przez rektyfikację spirytusu surowego.
Wódka - wysokoprocentowy napój alkoholowy składający się z destylatu alkoholowego rozcieńczonego wodą w stosunku około 2:3 (40%). W Polsce aby móc legalnie nazywać napój alkoholowy wódką musi on zawierać minimum 37,5% alkoholu.
Tequila ? wódka meksykańska, odmiana mezcalu, produkowana ze sfermentowanego soku specjalnego gatunku tzw. niebieskiej agawy, (Agave tequilana). Jest tam znana od czasów Azteków. Nazwa pochodzi od okręgu w Meksyku, w którym rozpoczęto jej produkcję.
Pieprzówka - napój alkoholowy wytwarzany ze składników: wódka, pieprz ziarnisty (ok. 20 ziaren na 0,5l wódki), miód lub cukier (ok. 1 łyżki na 05,l wódki).
Cytryna zwyczajna Citrus limon (L.) Burm., nazywana też cytryną właściwą lub po prostu cytryną - gatunek roślin z rodziny rutowatych (Rutaceae Juss.). Pochodzi z południowowschodnich Chin, lecz współcześnie nie występuje tam ani w stanie dzikim, ani nie jest tam uprawiana. Prawdopodobnie powstała w wyniku skrzyżowania limy (Citrus aurantifolia syn. C. latifolia) z cytronem (Citrus medica). Do Europy trafiła podczas Średniowiecza (starożytni Rzymianie znali i uprawiali tylko cytrony Citrus medica).
