Wódka - wysokoprocentowy napój alkoholowy składający się z destylatu alkoholowego rozcieńczonego wodą w stosunku około 2:3 (40%). W Polsce aby móc legalnie nazywać napój alkoholowy wódką musi on zawierać minimum 37,5% alkoholu.
Poncz ? mieszany napój alkoholowy, najczęściej korzenny, przygotowywany od razu dla większej liczby osób i podawany w wazie. Może być mrożony lub gorący. Pochodzi z Indii.
Pierwotnie przygotowywano go z pięciu składników: herbaty, cukru, cytryny i dowolnego owocu oraz wina. Dziś najczęściej sporządza się go z herbaty, cukru, przypraw, owoców, soków owocowych oraz alkoholu (rumu lub wódki), a czasem z samego rumu i soku.
Napój ten jest popularny we Włoszech, Hiszpanii i Francji.
Słowo poncz oznacza również syrop z dodatkiem alkoholu, używany do nasączania ciast.
