Mleko potrzebne do produkcji likieru pochodzi wyłącznie od około 40 tys. wyselekcjonowanych krów, hodowanych na 1,5 tys. irlandzkich farm. Trzykrotnie destylowana whiskey używana przy produkcji likieru pochodzi z najstarszej w Irlandii, 400-letniej destylarni w Bushmills.
Wódka ? wysokoprocentowy napój alkoholowy składający się z destylatu alkoholowego rozcieńczonego wodą w stosunku około 2:3 (40%). W Polsce aby móc legalnie nazywać napój alkoholowy wódką musi on zawierać minimum 37,5% alkoholu.
Rum ? napój alkoholowy o wysokiej zawartości alkoholu (37,5%?81%) wytwarzany ze sfermentowanego soku z trzciny cukrowej, koncentratu tego soku lub melasy.
